The last year and a half has been a journey very difficult to describe. Yesterday was a major mile marker in that journey.

Since a year ago August I have spent 4 months out of 9 sick. We gave away our dogs, sold our house, and my friend Julie and I started a business.

The journey has been incredible because the Lord has taught me and dealt with my heart in so many ways. He has tested and challenged me in new ways and in painful ways.
When it comes to the business...I would like to say that all ideas are romantic in nature becaus they are ideas...they are not reality...they are the hopes, dreams desire we have...they are romantic. Trying to turn ideas into reality...not so romantic :) Julie and I have labored hard for the past 2 & 1/2 years trying to take ideas and turn them into reality. We have learned so much, and have been tested in patience and waiting for God to move and act. We have dealt with choosing faith inspite of fear. And we have been working on "not loosing it when standing at the end of the red sea with the Egyptians behind us!"

We have waiting and worked hard to try and get a website in place. Yesterday was the reality of our ideas and a milemarker in the road of God's goodness, faithfulness, kindness, and re-assurance...when God is with you, who can stand against you?

With a very grateful heart today...I simply want to say "Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord!"
Praise the Lord and thank you for your prayers!

My First Blog!

So...Since I want to be like Matt when I grow up, I decided a good first step would be to start a blog...just like he did :)

I have avoided blogging up to this point, because it has seemed so narcissistic! My friends have more recently been winning me over to the idea of getting with the techno times. Therefore, having decided to quit dragging my feet in the sands of times past, I have braved the dawn of a new day and with this, my first post...ventured past the looking glass into the world of blogging :)

Till next time,
Jessica
